Apparently the fork will be carbon with an alloy steerer.
Nothing wrong with Aluminium bikes, they’re good value for commuting/training, and perform well on the track.
fixters wont buy them in bulk imo
the average fixter wants steel because a) steel iz reel and b) steel bikes make other fixters think you have been into fixiez since the 90s

from here, before they went gangrene/chrome they kept it celeste.
alu frames were the super-hotness for fixies several years ago (see the pista concept which for a while was the ‘unicorn’ of frames thanks to bianchi screwing up delivery and shipments to the US, as well as the early MASH hype fat tube frame fad), but they are a harsh ride and expensive compared to steel (of its varying qualities).
where the fuck you been? Pista Concept is one of the most desirable bikes in the hipster realm…
also, it’s a nice looking frame, pity about the colours/design and the fact that it definitely won’t come in my size. why on earth are bianchi using their old logos on new-style frames, they look shit and there’s nothing wrong with the oblique logo

better quality pic. looks to be very similar to the 2009(?) D2 Super Pista (probably not made in Italy tho, Trigger;)). Colour, braze-ons and fitout is horrid, but there’s a nice looking frame under there
also, this concept ‘Pista Classic’ sure pisses all over that Pista Via Condotti(?) they released this year

fucking horrible colour and components. i really like the idea of an aluminium frame with carbon fork (light and stiff), but 90% of them are so ugly.
