this is a good poster, but i’m really annoyed that so many of these posters feature ye olde cyclists. god dammit, the golden age of cycling is right now! give that guy a BT and some five-spokes!

That’s all well and good, but to quote the brief, “The winning entry will best capture the vintage style of the traditional bicycle poster”.
On that note, I think Pax has done an excellent job.

I think Ezy and Brendan had picked the best two but the winning poster ain’t too shabby.
Can’t get behind posters the that show track cyclists in cycling caps - too much of an anachronism.

Thanks Caddeye + all, didn’t win anything but the finalists were all well worthy (if not faithfully “vintage”), and there was free booze at the awards night 
Thought it was strange that the bike related event had zero bikes locked up outside, sans mine + girlfriend’s.
Oh and I will be in attendance for the opening day/possibly Sunday night of the championships - after looking at all these posters so many times I’m pretty psyched to check out the real thing.
so, i skipped school to watch the french team and the british team train this afternoon. so good.
