He’d have to be able to. No Boonen, no Sagan, SKY not doing all that well this year. I can’t see anyone really challenging him if he holds his form.
I also feel that he is ready to retire, the shitty teams he has had to deal with, the issues racing has been causing his family etc. So he may be super motivated to win anything he can this year and cement his legacy before either retiring or joining IAM next year.

Yeah, hard to see anyone getting close to Fabian. Looks like we might get a replay of last year’s race, with Fabian instead of Boonen being the one to solo away from 50km out. A bit of rain and mud though, or an untimely mechanical, and the whole thing could get turned on its head.

i agree, doing dumb shit does qualify you as human. and acknowledging that dumb shit, owning up to it, taking responsibility for it, apologising for it and then working to fix it is what makes you a decent human. sagan has done none of that so far. and, judging by this pic, he’s a long way from being a decent human just yet.

A one day race in hell will not do anything, especially as there are other races he can contest around the same time.
