Thanks. And yeah, the stem is really nice. I’ve had it for over two years with no issues. It’s made it by Nitto, so it’s pretty damn good.
So I test fitted a Chrome Rack Duffle on this today. It’s a no go due to the SRAM shifters. If my stem was higher, and my bars were wider, it might work, but not with the current set up. The other problem were the straps on the bottom to hold it to the rack had the ability to slip off the side of the rack, so keeping the bag in place would also be an issue.
YMMV, but I’ll be looking at an ILE or Swift bag if and when I get a bag for the rack. For now, my old Chrome messenger bag cargo netted to the rack is doing fine.
Levers probab interfere with Swift bag too tho?

Possibly, but the Chrome bag is pretty wide. I test fitted a Swift bag as well and it seemed fine. Not sure what size it was though.

Polaris on the other hand… I had to switch to bar end shifters :0
totally depends on bar width/flare/shifter location, bar height, rack height, shifter style and bag.
But you can make an educated guess or bend some cardboard up
Yeah, I reckon it was an Ozette.
FWIW, I run a large ozette with 40 cm wide bars (Ritchey Classic with no flare) and brifters are fine.
