Hey guys,
First post here so be easy on me here 
I recently just got the Aventon Mataro Low frame and I’m just wondering if anyone else out there that got the same frame received it with the seat clamp unattached to the seat collar?
I’ve been trying to push the seat clamp onto the seat collar but I feel like I’m doing something wrong and I don’t want to damage the new frame either.
Any suggestions?

Yeah I actually got it from them, I’m just being a little impatient lol. I’ll give them a call Monday and see how I go.

How’d you go? I had similar problem on the weekend.
What I did was thread the seatpost into the collar, then mount the collar+seatpost in the tube, and tighten a bit. That creates pressure outwards and should be enough? I have not tested this though.
yeah i ended up doing the same and so far it hasn’t caused any problems. but then again i’ve only put 20ks on it.
