No brakes and plastic pedals with no clips? :? Why have advertisements like this and the one below?
It’s not a bad idea at all… Say you were buying one to race or customise, you can be happy that you are not paying anything extra for pedals, brakes and levers you will have to discard or replace. If you have no idea it looks clean and simple, you can work out the rest later.
I understand that you’ll probabaly replace the pedals (if they’re plastic), but why not put something like MKS Sylvan’s on there…? I just found it funny to see this supposedly nice bike with pedals that looked like they came from k-mart.
Maybe it’s to get the creative juices going… “wow those pedals are crap, maybe i’ll search for some of those ones I saw on FGG…” hehe.
haha. Maybe that’s when they go, maybe I’ll get one of those top tube pads I saw on FGG as well. It all goes down hill from there…
I’ve only ever seen two Pista’s down at the velodrome in about a year and a half. They are primarily a street cruiser.
Things like pedals and saddles are personal things that most people change as ndf said. Bianchi see no point investing in a quality seat or peddles because the vast majority of people will swap them over for their MKS Sylvan NJS and Brooks leather saddle. You’ll find even on $3000-4000 road bikes the same thing happens.
