Word is a bunch of NYC messengers made some good coin out of being stunt doubles/filmers/advisors on that film.
So as Goose said, it had its benefits, whatever the end result.

As for that trailer… I couldn’t even get halfway through it before killing it.

and you know what? he’s wearing a helmet. that’s pretty impressive from a social responsibility standpoint, and not something hollywood would normally do, sacrifice cool points for whatever reason
