headtube lug work is stunning. but has frame been powder coated? lug edges don’t seem as sharp as they should be.

Nah I don’t think its been powdercoated, just heeeaaavily painted - as prev. said by ben and spirito. Maybe covering up some rust damage that couldn’t be sanded out? Pity. The lugs, stay details and decals are really great.
looks like they’ve had a big hit of clear over decals and the pin striping - usually pin striping isn’t cleared over.
that’s why it looks pretty thick
