Time to Mann up?
Mann Pk Windsor, spent morning yesterday before cyclocross looking around clayfield parks
and another new infrastructure that is pretty useless at both ends but brilliant for time-trialling in the middle
On a side note re Mann Pk - I like a kid’s park with trip hazards - loose bark - near hard and sharp edged rocks that can interact badly with kid’s heads; and I like a park that is below the spaghetti roadway system that must spew out a lot of carbon monoxide. But the kicker is the fact it is flood prone and the sight of a half submerged Nessie with the next king tide would make a real kodak moment.

Yeah, the 2k time trial. Much faster than the old Tarragindi back way.
Just need to be careful going northbound in peak hour. Freeway on ramp to cross, though it’s fine on weekends.

Hah, nah, not on the way home - Wednesdays I drop the boy at school, but then I’m most of the way to work so it’s not worth going back to switch bikes - so i do the ride home with the tagalong bouncing around behind me.
I’ve lost count of the “Think you’ve lost someone” comments, but the occasional overtaking of road bikes on an old mtb with fat tires and a tagalong makes up for it a little.
However, this thread makes me wonder if there might be a better way…
