Yeah … but nah. Form should follow function imo. I’m not a Jobst Brandt fan boy but he did correctly point out that pads act as insulators, and no heat travels through the pads to the cooling fins on the shoes. Instead the heat remains solely on the rims and the pads at the contact face.
So as cool as the look, they’re just dumb design. I’d rather spokey-dokes … that’s cool dumb design imo
