got mine there. $250 rear with spokes & velo flipflop hub
$200 front with spokes & velo hub…couldnt afford front aswell but i got something verynice for $50 2ndhand 
they have alot of choises but mostly hipster style stuff im not into.

seeing as you are in brisbane, im not too sure why you havnt spoken to erik yet?? shops like GEAR wont be around if people dont support them!
You can’t get em any cheaper than what Eric can do em for anyway. Plus if you order in the morning he can have em in shop by the arvo. 
can also get the crazy graphic ones for 50 (last time i checked) more 
tho i think the availability of those is limited… have to check with erik on them
nice to see people supporting their local. but some prices…please… because canberra has no local fg/ss shop .some good people stoking various bits and peices but alas not enough of us yet to inspire an entrepneur.

normally i would also send people shifter bikes way,
but seeing as here in brisbane we now have our own, kind of, equivalent, gabriel, call up erik, or go in and see him, his prices are better than you might think for such a small/new shop 
Go see Michael at Mitchell Bike Superstore, and tell them Liam sent ya. They are building a few fixies up there at the moment.
ps I have supported my LBS (Gear) and they are no the cheapest. Sorry Erik

For Sydney the best price i’ve found is $390 for a deep v/formula wheelset at Europa cycles in Kensington
i got a rear from bsc for 200 not long ago, i think that sounds pretty good, and theyre my lbs
$295 for the pair in BrisVegas
