lets say maybe he picked up the frame super cheap, or free or whatever, build up with good parts, sell, there’s max margin here though, won’t sell for that
Talked to a friend of a friend at a wedding last weekend and he said this. Spent alot of money on a tarck bike cause he had heard it was fun. Rode it a handful of times but didn’t enjoy it so moved onto snowboarding. He now has a very expensive bike hanging on his living room wall.
That’d make a lot of sense. You would think people would be smart enough to try riding someone else’s track bike first or even buy a cheap Masi or similar as their first fixed wheeler.
this isnt fixed gear specific, pretty much every activity has a small subset of people who spent big and never end up using it, be it too scary/difficult/no time.
i for one am glad for these people, means near new items for cheap. Some people have too much cash to burn, God bless em =D
