I hate salmon!!! Why would you ride on the wrong side of the road? The issue i have is that most of the time i’m given no choice but to enter the road lane to get past. I play chicken now (they’re usually a bogan with helmet undone, or on the bars, so they know it’ll hurt them mor than me).
I only make comment at cyclists when they do something that gives drivers a reason to hate us more. We don’t need that.
Had an interesting run-in with a bogon on bike the other day.
Riding down Royal Prd, I over take said bogon who then gives chase to get in front again. In the process of showing his far superior cycling abilities he runs a pedestrian red light, which I stop at.
At the next major intersection he does stop. I pull up behind him as ask, “Why are you stopped? Red obviously mean GO you, of you go”. Then he harps up about being a ‘safe rider’ and that he was not riding in a large group. The light turns green and he starts racing off again only to crunch his gears and fall off. I just rode past and made a comment of “…yeah riding safe there mate”.
