DT 240 front hub with threaded end caps.

I’ve got a DT 240 front hub I’m converting from QR to through axle, the only problem is that the end caps aren’t press fit they are screw on.

Has anyone come across that before and does anyone know of a shop that might have the removal tool?

I’m trying to find someone on the north side in Melbourne.

Why does this hub actually have threaded end caps- I can’t work this out??
