Here’s a pic of experimental 650b convert for Mrs. Spirito from about 5 or 6 years ago in the colour I mentioned. It’s not too warm a colour but not too cool either. It’s very similar to the classic Benotto colour from the Moser/Vlaeminck era. And if it has to be german I’d say BMW Sahara Beige Metallic is the closest cousin I’ve seen with my own eyes.

No probs… and to make it better, I just google image searched a few of those paint codes…
eg “vw L225 paint” and it gives you a better idea of the colour.
