Watched Shame last night, Fassbender is incredible.
Great film, although not really one you’d watch with your nan.
Wolf Creek 2 is just crap. Same Plot as the first but more stylized violence. Longer boring sequences. And I could not suspend disbelief at the conclusion.
White house down. so many plot holes, it was like watching someone project a movie through a piece of swiss cheese. Terrible.

Just watched the Pantani doco…pretty good, maybe not the best biographical doco I’ve ever seen, but interesting none the less. Who didn’t want to go and destroy a climb after watching that!? Can someone explain why in one scene he has his chain off the derailleur - ghetto singlespeed stylez? Also amusing that the fill in footage of the rear wheel appeared to be out of true!
What else? Rush was excellent, as was Frida and Parkland. The Wolf Of Wall St was pretty good, too - made me thankful I’m not in that line of work!

Saw Boyhood tonight. Pretty friggin amazing project. 12 years of filming following a kid growing up and having him act out a fictional life too. Weird watching Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke age too.

SBS are showing some great horror movies back to back Wednesday nights.
This Wed at 8.30 they’re showing “Sightseers” by Ben Wheatley.
Definitely worth a look, especially for anyone who’s ever been on a camping/caravan trip.
Watched First Knight. Would not recommend.
