Anyone without plans tomorrow should get to this. Seriously the most entertaining track carnival program I’ve seen. BBN gets notoriously low turnouts to its summer club racing. Hopefully this attracts some numbers. Bring some deck chairs and an esky if you’re not racing.
Hope it does. BBN Saturday racing is a good weekly hit out which deserves more people showing up. Since I started racing there in 2009, numbers have been slowly shrinking every year…
Agreed. It’s always a good mix of races and the track is a really nice one. TBH I think the location is probably the main factor. If you live west or north side, it’s a bit of a mission to get there.
BBN have a decent volume of kids coming through now under what is really a rebuild since they lost a bunch of families to SKCC.
But I feel they really could use a changing of the guard to run their races in a more enjoyable/youthful way and ensure these kids can relate to it.
It’s bike racing, not a kids birthday party at the local climbing wall. If Doug wasn’t there week in week out, there wouldn’t be track racing at BBN!
