I love riding home in the pissing rain, nothing better.
Yep. Good old fenders will keep me dry less wet.
i am so wet. fenders keep the water from the wheels off you, but there’s nothing to stop the water the fenders scoop up when i go through deep puddles…on the plus side, everyone drives slower, so it seems like i travel faster.
I ventured out this evening and scored a flat for my troubles.

Rode out to Darraweit Guim today (northwest of Craigieburn). ~130km, 50km/h winds, and The Age reckons it’s the wettest day of the year. :-o Handled many km of dirt road just fine but the Steamroller finally met its match :

Turns out it was the wrong way anyway so lucky I didn’t perservere or I’d still be out there. What a freakin awesome ride!
all this rain better mean i can start having long showers again.
