^ yes please!!
Find me something French, pista and compitable for the Vitus.
I hear ya. I seem to have a box of rims, most of them good but not exception.
Last set of wheels I built are Rhyno Lite 48H onto some Origin8 48H track hubs.
Not exactly sexy but damn they are tuff (and much wider than I thought)
I love overbuilt wheels !!! Sometimes 36h is not enough
If I had something that suited I’d holla but I cleared out most of the cool track stuff.
I’ll post a pic of these with Big Apple 2.0s once I get some toobs. Yes, not Profile hub but meh - solid.
Pardon the thread dig, just wondering if anyone has ever run 35/40mm tyres on TB14s? If yes, how were they?
Gene ran these on his CX rig for DDCX.
I’ve been running 31-35s on mine for over a year.
This includes a fair bit of trails riding and gravel grinding. Can recommend.
Cheers guys, I’m still deciding between TB14s and Dyads.
Dyad was my first option, considering I was looking towards light touring/dirt/rando purposes, hence the rim width.
But now TB14’s joining the equation
If you wanna go even wider there’s Mavic A319/A719… These are good, but heavy.
Nausea, I have a set of Mavic A319s on deore hubs that I’ll be getting rid of as soon as I build up their replacements.
They’re in good condition, recently trued and only been ridden for ~1500km.
Thanks for the tip heavymetal - Bigadz, tempting offer - I’m PMing now
My wife has tb14s running Pasela 35s (fat 35s). Good rims for fat 700c tyres.
Could be keen on the Mavic A319s Bigadz … If Nauesa decides to pass…
bspokes, be my guest! I’ve just PM’d Bigadz about this.
Appreciate the input Dice, starting to lean heavily towards them now.
no worrie nausea.
bspokes, the rear is laced to an 8 speed deore hub. Is that ok? Also, it would be 2-3 weeks til they’re available, but if I know you definitely want them I can hurry up on building the replacements so you get them ASAP
Pm sent
Great rims for the dough. DO IT!!
