Just a few questions about the HATTA R9400 BB. I have sugino cranks and i just wanted to know if it would be fine/safe to use this bottom bracket with my suginos. Oh and if it’s actually a good quality BB…sorry, i’m a newbie to riding fixed!
I believe the Hatta BB has a JIS taper, while the Sugino 75 is designed for an ISO taper.
In the real world, the Sugino cranks should fit onto the BB with no trouble, but they might not interface as perfectly as an ISO BB would if you get me.
In other words I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Anyone else confirm?
haha I just assumed you said ‘Sugino75’. Tell us what exact cranks you have.
I have sugino RD2 cranks at the moment, but i’m looking at investing in a pair of 75’s a little later. Would it make any difference? Thanks for the speedy reply

Hatta R9400 has a 109mm spindle
So they’re both JIS which is good, but you’ll have to watch out for the chainline.
