opinion varies as to value of helmets in many ways, but i guess if you are going to get your head run over, you better be wearing one…

having spent anywhere from $50-300 in one hit at a time on helmets, i still haven’t found one that actually fits right.
bell, met, giro, cratoni, specialised, nothing seems to fit the way my arai moto helmet fits.
they are all a little narrow, or not long enough, or both.
by end of a 10 hour day i ALWAYS have a headache, caused from helmet pressure.
i often wonder if i’d be better not wearing one and not getting the headaches.
ah well, it’s probably a tumor from the radios anyway so why worry…

my goalie mask was a carbon ProMasque and fantastic.
fitted better than anything i’ve ever worn on my head and was designed to survive multiple impacts with a puck going at 90MpH.

That would be right :roll:, Queenslanders get all the good shit (rednecks, guns, bogans, cane toads, tourists etc etc etc) while the rest of the states subsidise them. The only Melbourne Ice rink I know of is the shitty one on Centre Rd in Oakleigh Sth.
