yeah im getting some 1970s pointy end pedophile shoes converted to impress my hipster mates, just gotta wait another week to get my moustache up to a respectable level before i unleash them.

for future reference “pointy end pedophile shoes” are known as Winklepickers

While living in London I went into Brick Lane Bikes, where a messenger was having a pair of steel cap work boots modified for SPDs. Pretty classic.

That’s commitment. I’d consider getting some vans converted, although some air force one SPD’s would be awesome for some hipster cred.

I was picturing that bboy, sneaker freaker, skinny jean, general pants sort of look. couldn’t think of what you’d call it so i settled for hipster hoping people would get what i meant.

Local Goldcross store at McGregor in Brisbane have SPD sandals for $30- picked a pair up yesterday- very comfy, but will not get an outing till summer
