Looking at starting a new project and came across this frame on ebay - I am interested to know if the ‘holes’ under the top tube would jeopardise the structural integrity of the frame, and whether its likely that this was caused by rust underneath the paintjob… ALSO who knows what kind of frame this is?

I’d guess at a Lawrencia,
I’d also guess at the holes being from rust on the inside of the tube.
They get blown through when sand blasted.
It would need the tube replaced.
Looks like junk to me. I imagine it would be most likely an old 3-speed frame with 27" wheels, maybe a path racer. Far from an ideal start to a new project. Just wait for the swap meet Bro, its on tomorrow!
