How do Time make their stems so stiff? Has totally transformed characteristics of the bike.

Cut the steerer down at Saint Cloud yesterday, great sensations. Didn’t even grease the blade, Time carbon dust is actually good for you I’m told.

Times and Looks are pretty thin on the ground, especially in the 50-52cm/small sizeway.
If anyone sees one around, please post here for my consideration. Cheaper is better. Frame/fork is also ok. I probably won’t buy, but I’m enjoying the mental dithering.
