…and the box. It’s probably packed full of goodies. Sell anything you don’t want to the suckers on eBay.
Was it a early birthday present bobby digital?
Ha no just good timing.
I hate you
Ha no just good timing.
^ hahah…awesome.
I hope you buy your mate at the local a beer or two…
Hahaha busted. I like hearing about folks who get a good deal and then ride it. Flipping it for $450 though? That’s pretty shitty. When I say pretty shitty, I mean it’s real fucking shitty.
I’m guessing it’s too small?
chuck a 5 in between those numbers and maybe he’ll talk
Yeah too small hence the sale.
I dont have a problem at all sellig it, I saw another very similar frame set on eBay I think going for 500. ( in the end I don’t think he got any bids) as I haven’t. Was surprised when I saw that guy putting his up for so much but thought it might be worth a shot.
I got a sweet deal that is essentially useless to me, ( not actually a sweet dealin the end)
if I flip it I can buy something that is useful ? Therefore getting a sweet deal. I don’t see how this is shitty at all.
Im sure I’m going to be enlightened.
Yeah I gave him 50$ and had a beer and a chat to him today atvthe pub. Still gonna go round check out the box of goodies he said he got with it.
See what else I can flip and really piss people off.
Dude flip it if you can.
Hell we all need more money for toys.
Bung it on ebay at 99c start and" let the chips fall where they may."
You’ll still be ahead.
this.
if it grew a size I’d swap you a fuji for it, but I don’t want a bike too small, so this post is irrelevant.
Ebay, 99c, buy your mate a beer, buy me a beer, world keeps turning around, all that shit.
I think the issue is trying to making a big profit off someone’s generosity.
This. I have no problem with buying something and flipping something. But when it was essentially a gift, given by someone who doesn’t know what they are dealing with, it becomes you taking advantage.
If they were selling it on ebay, you bought it, cleaned it up and took better photos that would be IMO a world of different.
it didnt sound like a ‘gift’ to me
it sounded more like a bloke selling something he had no idea about, in which case i see it as the buyers luck, and not because the seller was ‘generous’
does this class as taking advantage? im not so sure
although i still think ebaying at $0.99 start bid would be the ‘gentlemen’ thing to do.
