Its like therapy for cat owners. I’m not alone …
Cop this cat lovers, I was out in the rain today and came across two very small kittens in the middle of the road (back streets near a creek). They had obviously been discarded by some prick and were in pretty bad condition.
I managed to get one wrapped up in my shirt and the other bolted and after a half hour of crawling under cars chasing it, it evaded me. So I continued on riding f’ing brakeless one handed in the rain with a kitten in the other hand to my mates coffee shop (where my miss’s works) to a heroes welcome and there is a vet across the road.
After refusing the miss’s wanting to keep it, another chick in the shop says she’ll have it and takes it to the vet. It returns soon after clean and feed and looking brand new. I told the chick she could keep him on the condition she called him “Fixie” I saved him I get to name him!
So on the way home the miss’s and I stop for another look for the other guy and the miss’s finds him curled up in a tree nook looking shit house. So back to the vet. The miss’s rides ss so we named him “free wheel” and now I have a cat. The vet is keeping him for a couple days as he has a seriously infected eye and may loose it yet but heres hoping, I’ll keep you cat people posted.

Lokione, that is awesome. My mum’s cat lost an eye. It didn’t really worry about not having it to much after and it didn’t seem to affect it to much. Animals adapt to shit much better than humans.
Yeah my mates cat got hit by a car and now it’s front left leg just dose not work at all and the cat doesn’t seem to even give a shit, funny.
Ok so the cat is home for a couple days now and is doing great and is a pretty cool little dude hey. Just noticed I have been given the tag of “Rescuer of kittens” Thanx mods! I’ll pay that, pretty funny. Not as good as Pussy Saviour but…

Speaking of rescuing kittens, a friend of my partner has two 7 week old male kittens that are free to good home. They were dumped outside the vet clinic where she works (in a plastic bag when they were a day old) and they need somewhere to go to live before they are put down. PM me if you are interested.
