lightweight track pump for international air travel

I’m looking for a recommendation for a lightweight track pump to take with me to France when I head off in a few weeks to do my inaugrual Tour de France trip.

I’d like to buy one locally from a Melbourne bike shop so recommendations on brand and retailers would be handy.

I’ve heard Lezanne do a good mini track pump but would be interested in recommendations. Weight saving to avoid excess baggage costs is the main issue.

(In responding you should assume gas cannisters are hard to find at the other end - even if this is not in fact the case).

I haven’t come across a good hand pump with a guage that works wll enough.

Topeak Road Morph, Mini Morph. - These are mini track pumps, you can put the mini morph in your jersey pocket, the road morph has a gauge and is a stretch for the jersey. I have both with a few years of good service.

The Lezyne fullsize track pump is very nice, I assume the micro floor drive with gauge would be what you’re after:
Micro Floor Drive HPG,190g,Lezyne, Micro Floor Drive HPG, hand pump, travel hand pump,
190g, 300mm long.

Or the travel floor drive at 840g and 508mm

i have the Lezyne micro floor drive blakey posted above.

it’s great for everything but small pressure increases. the gauge likes to jump instead of rising smoothly, so if it says 60psi, it could be anywhere from 60 through to 70/75. you won’t know until you see it jump again. and because i ride wide cushy tyres, i haven’t tested it above 90psi yet, so i don’t know how high it’s useable/practical to.

Yep, those Lezyne ones look like the ones I’m after.

Any chance I could pick one up in Melbourne? - I’m running out of time to rely on buying online and getting them in to Melbourne from O/S before I head to Europe in the first week in July.

Thanks both for the recommendations.

I checked - Cecil Walker stock a range of these pumps - in case anyone else is interested.

I can vouch for the Topeak Road Morph, but the gauge jumps as per dfunkt’s description of the lezyne micro’s behaviour.
