I guess it’s a lesson to ensure that your bikes are always listed on your contents insurance. Sure your pride and joy can’t be replaced, y’know sentiment and all that, but a sizeable lump of cash in your bank account helps ease the pain somewhat 
Will keep my eyes peeled on gumtree/ebay. As most of us already do!
Just curious, how was it locked? Was the lock busted? What kind of lock?
on the 1 occasionsI’ve seen this bike, it had 2 d-locks, 1 through the frame, 1 through the tri-spoke. curious how they did it too!
There was only one d-lock through the frame which was actually still attached to the bike when it was stolen.
Locking a bike up with the best lock in the world does nothing when the bike is locked to a virtual chicken wire fence.
