i tried this once and was very lucky not to lose my teeth/snap my forks. smashing down victoria street (the downhill part near smith st maccas) on the way to benzy’s when the bottle cage/zip tie collabo spun round and exploded between my front wheel and the downtube.

Just put gaffa tape over the cable ties, stops them moving full stop.
