Carl thanks for putting on a great race. Extremely well organised and thought out. It was my first sprint race and first time at Blackburn, and I was impressed with how the event was run as were other people from the comments I heard. Can’t wait for the next round and to see the photos and video.

That’s videos, it’s going to take me a day or two to get them all uploaded, I’m working backwards, A grade finals first …
I’m still working on uploading video - all of the first heat and finals are up, and the first 2 A grade races from the second heat are also done. Remind me never to be a video editor for a job … It’ll all be done by Thursday afternoon, I promise!

The rules :
If you’ve pre-entered you must be at Blackburn by no later than 12pm and
at the entry table confirming that you’re there. You will be amongst the
first to do your flying 200’s, so be there earlier than 12 to have a
warmup! At 12pm sharp we will return your place to the entry pool for
rollup entrants.
I hope this makes sense!
Round 2 is only a few days away, and pre-entries are currently at 15 (of a total allowed field of 30 riders for the day). You don’t have to pre-enter to compete, but it means you’re guaranteed a spot if you do.
The forecast is a bit iffy (rain & showers clearing), but the BoM has been wrong before …

Round 3 is coming up - Dec 7th…
Round 3 of the Bontrager Summer Sprint Series is this coming Sunday the 7th of December, the long range weather forecast is good and we’re
getting ready to have another great day sprinting.
We have 30 places available, and so far we’ve got seven pre-entries. To
guarantee yourself an entry, please send me an email to carl@aboc.com.au and I’ll add you to
the list. If you do pre-enter and then don’t show up without contacting
me, we’ll zero your aggregate points for the series, so please if you do
pre-enter, accept that it’s a real commitment - other people who would
like to race don’t come if they see that there’s a lot of pre-entries
and that’s not fair to them.
Don’t forget the free BBQ afterwards for all riders and spectators.
We hope to see you on Sunday.
