i gotta say, i think that was the best #cupdayride i’ve been on so far.
sure, we got fucking pissed on, moccos got 4000 flats and caz had a tyre explode, but i reaaalllllllllly enjoyed it today.
as promised, many many lolz were had. i think the fact that it pissed rain made it better, even if some of the lightning was a little close for comfort at times!!
thanks to moccos for the “apology” carton (which was so unnecessary, but greatly appreciated by all), benzy/chris/sime for having tons of chiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiips ready for the rest of us to help devour upon our return to lilydale in the pouring rain, and to everyone that decided that the weather wasn’t worth worrying about enough to stay home!

Also, I have someone’s soggy foot cover or arm warmer or something that fell off their bike as they were getting off the train. It’s in my washing machine now, so I’ll identify what it is once it’s out and clean and dry.
EDIT: Was it Rolly I was talking to yesterday about Sram Force? Whoever it was, I have both a front and rear derailleur here. Provided it’s a 35 clamp size on the front one, that is. Going cheeeeeeeeeeeap!

longest i’ve ridden in a day probably since the second Cranky Sundays Franga run(!?!) and was pretty happy i didn’t die.
that mud felt a bit like wet cement the last 20k’s but today all i can remember was good peeps and good lulz (and those 2 old mates in white jackets and handlebar mirrors). cheers again to moccos for the thoroughly enjoyed beer.
got home and jumped straight in the shower wearing shorts, knicks, and shoes. #ZFG
