Ripper of a day. Managed to get back to the carpark from Cog Bike Cafe along the road to Montrose and across in pretty good time.
Many thanks to Angry and Blakey for putting in such a stella effort in organising this - excellent work on the map instructions and coming up with such incredible terrain. A perfect warm-up for tonight’s Roobaix.

39/16T was just a tad too tall for all the climbing, but we made it without walking. A true gravel grind. Crushed my soul several times…

Gutted I couldn’t make it- trying to overcome mechanical issues
my shithead of a knee. if anyone has a spare i’m willing to pay ca$h money, do charts, clean your house, do your uni assignments etc

yeah, dunno why these guys are walking. it’s not even that hilly right?
had a good time, hardest ride i’ve done for a while, the descent at the end was the perfect way to finish up, oncoming traffic, mud and imperfect bike setup included.
