Yeah, the guy who organised it has a thing for alliteration.
I was thinking it would just be a “ride” but it turns out it was just a hang out thing… we did ride there from chapel st though?
haha no way?!!! Thats pretty funny, considering Riff Random did a really LAME instore show in the front window of General Pants on Bourke St last year haha. Now thats a shameful sell out to those “dickhead hipsters”.
they just had it in the backroom momentarily, making sure the fork was installed backwards and the handlebars upside-down. it’s back in the window now.

I think it might have been more of a stab at fixed gear freestyle in general. When you’re a skater/bmxer and have been getting rad for a long, long time, to see some fixed gear honkies doing backwards circles would probably make your head hurt. It’s akin to riding in the aero position on a kmart mountain bike in a hi-viz vest. Sure you can do it, but its maximum fargotry.
I saw user kin riding up bourke st yesterday. She didn’t recognise me as I was riding my DH bike, plus she appeared to be on a mission.
saw many many people along chapel today looking out from work
highlight was shortsie and a lady friend riding together, car turns into greville cutting them off, shortsie goes up greville and girl keeps going straight
then 5 minutes of confusion
Fluro pink, green and white something absolutely smashing it down Miller St. Went past in a blur - as it faded off into the distance though, she coasted.
