Missed Connections - Part 6

Yep, that was us…

had a decent crew, rode down there, dropped our bikes and then HAD A SKATE SESSION in the same spot as that penis-eater.

Also had an esky full of beers which we offered up to the other skaters down there, which were graciously accepted by the sweet french skater dude.

and yeah, a mate who is a photographer wanted to do a shoot with our bikes and boards etc… big deal is what exactly?

ps. not one of us has a moustache

what a legend

was that that bikes, boards, beers thing? i couldn’t work out where the riding fit into the whole scheme of that

Saw HotBrad pulling mad skids out the front of the Sheraton on Elizabeth Street, about 2:30pm Today…

Yeah, the guy who organised it has a thing for alliteration.
I was thinking it would just be a “ride” but it turns out it was just a hang out thing… we did ride there from chapel st though?

from Chapel to St St kilda? that’s Epic - I hope you guys made a film about it.

a prolific forum member’s lady friend on brunswick street. she didn’t ask for a skid but opted for a “hi”. which was good.

also, i saw a shop on brunswick street that didn’t have a bike in the window. is everything ok?

my lady friend!

did you greet her and her friend with “g’day ladies”?

haha no way?!!! Thats pretty funny, considering Riff Random did a really LAME instore show in the front window of General Pants on Bourke St last year haha. Now thats a shameful sell out to those “dickhead hipsters”.

they just had it in the backroom momentarily, making sure the fork was installed backwards and the handlebars upside-down. it’s back in the window now.

Riff Random are still together???

massive lolz

Shortsie at the nepean highway, glenhuntly intersetion. Hi!

No skids forthcoming…

Heidelberg
Silver frame
White frame with green wheels and grips - 2 strikes for this guy

Hawthorn
Bianchi Pista with green tyres

locked up on lil collins, silver frame with “another bloody fixie/ed” sticker on the top tube.

Louis B racing past railway sqaure at about 12.

I think it might have been more of a stab at fixed gear freestyle in general. When you’re a skater/bmxer and have been getting rad for a long, long time, to see some fixed gear honkies doing backwards circles would probably make your head hurt. It’s akin to riding in the aero position on a kmart mountain bike in a hi-viz vest. Sure you can do it, but its maximum fargotry.

I saw user kin riding up bourke st yesterday. She didn’t recognise me as I was riding my DH bike, plus she appeared to be on a mission.

saw many many people along chapel today looking out from work
highlight was shortsie and a lady friend riding together, car turns into greville cutting them off, shortsie goes up greville and girl keeps going straight
then 5 minutes of confusion

yes my day was boring

most epic ride i’ve ever been on… like i said, i thought it was a “ride” but it was more of a “hang”

Hey to the brakeless black frame with blue veeps that I stacked it in front of at the Architecture building at usyd.

Note to self, foot out of straps before stepping off bike.

Fluro pink, green and white something absolutely smashing it down Miller St. Went past in a blur - as it faded off into the distance though, she coasted.
