Moderators needed - Spam is taking over.

hi guys,

we need a few more moderators to kill the spam issue we’re having. i am going to try and implement some software solutions to the problem, but no matter what is done, spam will still get through.

the majority of the spammers coming in are not automated bots, but third world workers getting paid next to nothing who manually register - it’s not as easy as just implementing captchas etc.

so if you are on the board a lot, and dont mind cleaning up the members list and the spam posts every once and while, i would be most appreciative (and i think so would many others :slight_smile:

It might not be necessary now. We’ve got 4 moderators I think, but I haven’t seen a hint of spam since the new forum was installed.
