??? why in gods name would you paint a proprietry tubeset frame as anything else???
It happens a bit in professional cycling. For example, Team A’s bike sponsor might be Giant. The team might like Giant’s road bikes but prefer Trek’s for time trial. There’s some sort of agreement and Trek’s bikes get repainted in Giant’s colours for competition.
Not sure about this particular example though. It doesn’t seem like a hack job.
