What snowflake and christof are trying to get at is riding fixed isn’t as hard as you think it is. Sure there’s some differences to riding free … but your brain will quickly work it out.
Just don’t stop pedalling and keep your clothes out of the drive.
Ride it fixed on Saturday and you’ll have plenty of protection and support on the road. Good chance to get used to fixed without the stress of traffic.
Although at 7:30 on a Saturday morning, traffic really isn’t much of a problem.
Just got a fixed cog, it’s something really new to me I guess, had trouble moving off from slope just now especially when I’m wearing clipless and having cars around me.
