my first fixie

Late 50’s Melbourne built frame, “Royal Eagle”.

Nervex professional lugs, has the ring of nice tubing when tapped, but no idea what it is, very light until you stick these steel rimmed crap wheels on

before shot of front wheel, nice quick release

Nice… but I’m not sure about the dummy brake levers… :?

Still need to fit the vintage mafac centrepull brakes to the bike.

Now with period brakes… don’t stop for shit, but make a squealing noise to advise people to get the F… outta my way.

How much do you press on that home gym thingy you got there?

Hope you got that chain nice and tight too.

What, my bike stand  Don’t get my wife started on the money waste that thing was

Have now, figured out quickly that loose chain + groin = ouch

a tight chain to the groin’s no picnic, either
