I’m looking into spending a few months over in NZ to ride mountain bikes and maybe work a bit. As I’m not sure if I make it this summer I was wondering how the conditions are in autumn & winter. I guess I would need to look into going to the North Island, Rotorua maybe for that time of the year, dont I? I spent some time on the South Island around Queenstown and Wanaka but I assume riding there in winter is pretty much impossible isnt it?
