I think it’s an automatic deduction, but I’m not certain. of those that completed the process recently, was this an option to opt in/out of?

I don’t know, but I think it’s not an automatic recurring payment.
There’s one person whose subscription has expired and is now disabled so that one is definitely not automatic. I don’t remember if there was an option to select automatic or not. But I think NickJ had to do mine manually because of some problem with admins and the subscription engine.
So I’m no help at all.
hmmmm ok. saw that ‘disabled’ status, clearly not recurring, or perhaps a reversal was requested. nick was still here when it lapsed though & I don’t recall a conversation about it.

ok, so my paypal account is showing that the $20 will be deducted from my paypal account automatically.
i discovered this as it’s just taken 4x$1 payments from my account that i made testing the system prior to rolling it out!!!
SO CHECK YOUR PAYPAL ACCOUNTS FOR “RECURRING PAYMENTS” IF YOU AREN’T SURE.
^ So if I go to my Paypal account - my account>view all activity>more filters>subscriptions & arrangements>recurring payments>transactions, there is nothing there. I presume this means I didn’t select automatic payment?
