When it cools off id be keen for a springbrook, chillingham and tomewin loop. Its 130k with a good cafe at half way and really quite.
Oriellys is a nice climb because it’s 5% most of the way. Its not a nice descent because it’s not steep and you struggle to crack 50. 
going to hit beechmont up in a couple of days.
Rode up and down Beechmont today, from the Canungra side. The climb was bloody awful because of the dead road but coming down the corners are banked, wide sweeping turns and you don’t need brakes at all! I think I sat on 75 for most of it. I went around 4:30 in the afternoon and saw maybe 8 cars, all of whom gave me the widest berth. Awesome.
Will try and get over the other side to see what that’s like next time.
Is this the road up past the St Joseph’s Hermitage ??
Yeah I’m pretty sure. Goes past the army base and then over a narrow bridge next to a campsite.
