Nice. I tried something like these on as a joke a few weeks ago (I have a really small head).
The wife was actually surprised that they suited me. So I am saving my pennies for some of these.

Time attacs are great, plus you can switch them over to your tarak bikes and skid with confidence. This being said once you start to do longer rides, more frequently you will notice the difference with proper road shoes and pedals.

I have some Wayfarer-style prescription sunnies, but they’re getting a bit trashed.
My glasses I wear all the time now are Dita brand. Handmade in Japan, etc, etc. I’m worried about breaking them, particulary riding because they were close to $1000. When i actually figured out what I can get on my private health, I hit up Specsavers on the weekend for some beater glasses.
Hit up these guys as well for some beater glasses. Fan them on facebook and they seem to give away free glasses most fridays. All you need to do is pay for postage. The glasses I wear these days came from them, cost me $18.00.
Anyone else noticed that dylbag has been really surly since he got back on the booze/ciggies/zomgenergy drinks?
Yeah, I got a free thing from my wife’s work friend for them… my script is too high / fucked and it ended up costing me $150+.

Was actually in OPSM today getting my eyes tested, looks like I’ll be joining the spectacles crew. Will be a nice change to look over my right shoulder while riding and actually be able to see traffic properly.

Yeah substitute it with bike riding, worked for me (and watching a couple of close ones die in pain & misery also kind of put me off it). While we’re on the smoking downer Mrs C’s dad has always been one of those “my right to smoke” blokes. The other day Jr Commuter was sitting across the room from him and said “Grandpa, I can hear you breathing from over here”.

Don’t get glasses with fat arms then. Otherwise you just look over your shoulder and see plastic.
And remember, girls don’t make passes at guys in glasses.
A friend actually gave me some frames so I went for a ride with them before taking them to OPSM, vision is not to obstructed wearing them. Looking forward to being able to read road sings easier and things written on the board in lectures.
