Probikekit.com free shipping to australia?

Sorry just about to buy a frame, the website says free shipping on orders over $55? but i’m not sure how to access it. has anyone recently bought from pbk?
cheers

yep, almost as fast as wiggle, finding it better priced on some things too

can you tell me the difference between standard dispatch and courier dispatch on the website? I found out frames arent included in the free shipping. its an extra $43 for the courier dispatch, but don’t know what the real difference is
cheers.

yeah anyone? need to know now.

only a couple of days probably. PBK are really fast, just like wiggle. Save your $43, or buy some tyres with it.

^ That’s not really correct. With standard dispatch don’t they process your order between 2-7 days. I once ordered an item, but it didn’t actually get posted till a week later. The actual shipping duration is probably the same. The faster dispatch means they process your order immediately.

the last time I ordered from PBK, I used standard dispatch. The items were dispatched the next day, and arrived at my door exactly a week from my purchase date (not dispatch date). maybe I was just lucky

Pushy much?

i dont think you understand how important this purchase is, obviously it is a life or death situation.

re priority dispatch, i have used it before and it makes no noticable difference. they just get it out the door faster, doesnt make the plane fly any faster.

^+1. With PBK orders I’ve found delivery takes a 7 or 8 days, with wiggle it’s about 4-5. I wouldn’t worry about paying extra for the quick dispatch, take uhee’s advice get something else with the cash

I didn’t end up ordering it and now they sold out the frame size i needed…
i needed a 56cm frame, im 181cm and long legs
reckon 58 would be right?

maybe go to your local bike shop and get measured up properly, save the hassle of guessing your frame size.

you ride a mash dont you? I know its different geometry but whatb siZe do you ride and how tall r u

Yes I do, I ride the 50cm frame, as I am quite short @ 163cm.

Seriously man you should go down to the bike shop and get measured, it will take 2 minutes max. No use spending all that money and getting a frame that might be too big or too small for you.

You have to look at the actual sizing/geometry. There’s no point comparing one manufacturer’s “58cm” frame to another because the way they measure them is different and the geometry can make a difference too.

What frame were you looking at?

for fuck’s sake, jimmy is totally right here. the fixie fad ain’t going anywhere, kid. take 15 minutes and go down to your bike store and get measured up. 15 minutes late to the party is still cool o’clock.

for all we know you may have legs that go up to your armpits and short stumpy little arms, and you may need a 61cm seat tube and a 6cm top tube.
