UPDATE

My 1st fixie :slight_smile: (apart from track bike)
bought it off Ebay for only 500

came like that ^ took off the brooks saddle, front brake and changed the stem.

its a 58 cm (no name) steel track frame painted metallic blue.
Gold velocity deep v’s laced to velocity hub. Front wheel has some wear from brakes being used.
White Vittoria Rubino Tyres
and a purple pimpin chain!!

The paint job needs to be redone and will probably change it to a black and white bike.
Currently riding bike around the burbs in VIC.

I know it’s tour personal taste but i love the look of the frame the way it is. Also IMO the Brooks saddle and original stem look better. The wheels look great and good price too.

old stem was to short but this one is only temporary. looks goofy :expressionless:
brooks aint for me…simple as that…

if it’s your first time on a fixed gear, it’d be a smart idea to chuck that front brake back on.

I don’t agree I think its better to take the plunge of brakeless fixed gear riding to begin with. Just be smart about where you are going for a ride and learn to ride fixed and without brakes at the same time.

That’s how I learnt and I’m still alive

i agree here
if ur gonna ride brakeless dont start with a brake, u’ll become dependent and run the risk of fucking urself up.
+1 for just being smart
-1 for another black/white bike, leave it i reckon, looks nice as in the sun

i do track so brakeless hasnt been a problem…gota learn to skid tho.
SE larger? thanks gypsy. the guy i bought it off didnt have a clue what frame it was as he got it off a friend.

UPDATE!

Putt on the retro rigida dp18 which has not seen much use.
New forks, no name and only $1 from ebay :smiley:

New paintjob still to come!

Its an old Rigida DP-18 laced to a XTE - Pro (Giant) Hub, with carbon spokes.
Weights a ton! but looks fukin sweet!
