Hi All, my cousin is interested in getting into commuting and cycling more generally, and the Reid CX falls nicely into his budget and I think would suit him pretty well. 8 speed Claris is pretty basic and it’s no light weight, but I think it would be pretty solid. Does anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks for that, I’d seen that but it’s a slightly different model.
A guy in my building rides a Reid CX into work so I had a look. The front and back eyelets for racks/mudguards are both ~15cm up from the dropout which makes things hard, although mainly for a rack at the back. Not so bad otherwise
