What happened to the XT disc hub with a bolt on cog?

it endured my trip through japan and europe without proper maintenance. cones in the hub wore away, so did my bb - my whole drive chain was a mess. Went back to threaded cogs and track chainline.

Are you saying the wear was caused by lack of maintenance or a bad chainline? I’ve been looking at the xt bolt on cogs for a while.

I keep looking at those hillbrick pista’s, and yours is quite nice. Are the forks able to be drilled for a brake?

the roselli carbon fork isn’t drilled, i think you can get it with a steel fork that is drilled as well

A steel fork on an alloy frame? Alright then.
I might have to roll over to hillbrick and have a look see.

Lack of maintanence, The rest of the drivetrain wore out before the cog and bolts. I was talkin about chainline because i was running 135mm spaced rear with MTB cranks. Now im running 120mm and track chainline. Bolt on cogs rock. I’d set one up next time… its just a hassle getting in parts right now. John from Cycle undergound supplied the first cogs for me, but he stopped investing in making them - then ordered stuff from VeloSolo (previously london fixed)

Im pretty sure its possible. Hillbrick has a line of road bikes that come with the same fork but drilled (from factory). I won’t do it though. too scared of carbon as is.
