shimano "BOSS" puller - 12 spline 20mm od tool

Does anyone have one of these tools?

I have an frame with shimano “selecta” BB cups stuck in and apparently this tool does the job of removing them…

If so, any chance of a brief loan to rip the things out?

It is an old Shimano freewheel tool, also available as a Taiwanese copy. I can’t imagine that a worthwhile bike shop wouldn’t have one.

found it! at Melbourne Uni cycles. And the best part was the guy didn’t try to tell me that i would not be able to replace the doova suchit, and that such and such is outdated and that “it’s been a while” - even though I just asked for a fucking tool…

“I’m after a blah blah…”

Thanks alot for the offer to lend the selecta tool, ndf! I’ve managed to snag the last one in their store, they tell me. I’m in SA and figured I might as well have one myself, that way I can be the local who can be gracious enough to offer to lend his out. :slight_smile:
