doesn’t look as good in real life. all my bikes end up as beaters though, even the ones i think are nice. when I ride with coffee and some of the others with dream machines i realised that i’m just not the kind of rider to be able to keep a bike in perfect condition. the geometry on this frame seems pretty awesome for a hard rubbish find though.

I’ve ridden past countless breatho’s whilst tipsy in Adelaide.
Unless they have a reason to pull you over, they won’t.
Basically… wear a helmet, use lights at night, don’t swerve all over the road and if you see a cop car or booze bus and you’ve been drinking, don’t bust out a massive elephant trunk skid in front of them.

They can’t stop a bicycle at an RBT. But if they suspect you’re drunk, they’ll just wait for you to pass and then pull you over.

The handlebars are the nicest part of the bike in the opinion of: myself, my mate chris, my brother, and the mechanic at the lbs.

I completely agree, as long as you appear responsible you should be safe.
That said, I have been called into a RBT station outside the wine centre, north terrace at about 3am in summer. Wasn’t even on a fixie then! It was an incredibly quiet night though, I imagine they waved me in out of sheer boredom.
