Shop in Goldcoast

Hi, I have a chance to visit your country
in end of this month.

Wondering if you guys know a place
where I can find old track frame in
Gold coast.

I heard that John’s Cycles might be a
nice place and thinking about visit.

do you know more.

from Japan.

Sorry I can’t help you with Gold Coast shops, but it intrigues me that you’re in Japan and you’re asking for a track bike, when lots of people here would kill for a Japanese Keirin frame:)

See, now if I was in Japan I’d be posting something like; “I am in Japan, how many Keirin frames and NJS parts would you like me to bring over so that I can pay for my trip?”

Assuming this is serious, I don’t know the GC shops, but ndf might be able to help.

And there’s this:

But not really old.

Or our good friend TC has some nice vintage frames, http://www.fyxomatosis.com/viewpage.php?page_id=5

edit: Damn, beaten, spent too long reading the news page on fyxomatosis.

Sexysushi…how tall are you?

… cos i have a 49cm Gitane road frame just itching for conversion

On the GC: John’s Cyclesport on Nobbys beach is an ace shop, but they do pretty much only new stuff. John makes a mean short macchiato tho… so it’s worth dropping in for a chat… Um… for track frames you probably want to go to Brisbane, or ebay.com.au - I dunno.

Actually - you could try Burke’s Bike Barn (currumbin) too… Burke sometimes cruises around on a tarck bike - he might have something. I never went there tho

thank you for quick responce yall!

we do have Keirin frames but its getting pricy
and hard to get in Japan as well.

I thought about may be trying to get alot of
frame and bring it over for CMWC in sydney
but I think I wont be able to go.

I have been digging through

and I think stuff this guy has or been doing is
pretty nice.

and Rhino I am around 170cm tall and was thinking 52
so I think that the frame mr.ndf has might be too small.

if you are interested in Japanese scene
