heavy metal cyclist is right
leave it for the street credit
wow, that name isn’t offensive at all!
Be patient. I’m sure Brendan will take care of it.
Perhaps change ‘muppet’ to ‘homophobe’
He’s from westgarth too!.. that there’s lesbian territory.
I like the idea of leaving the original paint.
I painted my Malvern Star white and am quite pleased but almost wish that the frame was in better condition so that I could have left it.
+1, It’s only a CroMo Main frame mass produced unit from the 80’s fer chrissakes.
I drewed my Taiwanese PG/tangalloy Shogun, and resprayed it because it’s nothing rare or special. No sharp bits to catch on if I use it for polo.
I realise this is a dragup thread from some noob, so what did you do in the end?
stop gravedigging threads.
.
Fuck it off and get a decent track frame, conversions are about as cool as having a bath with your dad.
Whew…my ol mans long dead, so I’m all good with my conversion.
Actually I reckon conversions are BACK!! A nice conversion is better to ride on the street than a track frame IMO.
Done well they can be just as good or even better!
Too true Aaron.
A lot of the time I think ‘why the fuck am I riding an uncomfortable alloy track bike on the street, when I could be rollin’ cool on an old Colnago with just the rear hub changed for the same coin?
Yeah they are.
Old school steel track frames are the shit, there’s no argument, but for me I’d much rather be ridin me parts bin shogun conversion than some generic OTR sterile (insert large brand name here) fixie(hate that word too).
Time for N+1.
Now where did ya find that pic of me ya lardy boy frame buster?
original is the best way
says who?
