Looking at getting a skidstar as a cruzzer. How do they go with 700c on them? if they fit? Any other tips when looking for one?

My friend has a Skidstar-esque frame that he might want to get rid of.
Is that orange skidstar in sydney… I’m pretty sure I’ve seen it (or one basically identical) in centennial park… it looks sweet.

I found a 5sp 1968 Skidstar in hard rubbish a few years ago.
The parts were mostly knackered but the frame’s fine, along with the 40yr old patina.
Woo hoo. A mate just picked one up in melborne for me.

Were they only made in Australia?
The bloke I bought mine from has another one coming from storage. Aparently its a freshly powder coated brown, unsure of size.
Let me know if you want his number before it gets lost out of my phone log.
